The concept of Writing Workout is simple: get you writing. And this splits into two main sections: maybe you're stuck on an existing project, or maybe you're facing a blank page and just need a bit of a kickstart.

Writing Workout is best treated as 'writing with the door closed'. This is first draft writing, against the clock, forcing you to simply get some words together. It's a great way of shrugging off your writing inhibitions and just get going. When the time is up, your masterpiece/stream of consciousness/ nonsensical drivel is available for you to cut and paste and improve at leisure.....


You'll need to enter your email ON THE ACTUAL EXERCISE PAGE to get your results. For privacy reasons, they don't come to me, and I also don't grab your email from that, so relax and write whatever you want!
